THE FISHING:

'Berbice Submarine Canyon Explorer' trip into the deep blue off the shores of beautiful Guyana.

We will travel 5-7 hour ride aboard our luxury 52 foot sport fish ‘TRI DEVE’ to Berbice Submarine Canyon, other remote offshore canyons ,and oil rigs in the Southern Caribbean Sea.

Anglers will target Giant Blue Marlin, Yellow fin Tuna, Dorado (Mahi Mahi) and many more pelagics.

Trolling is the name of the game here and fresh Ballyhoo will be provided with the cost of the trip. While relaxing on deck with a cold brew, we wait for the leaping bite of the mighty 'man in blue'.

Big Blue Marlin are tough opponents, so expect long drag burning runs and plenty of adrenaline pumping excitement! If conditions are just right, anglers can also jig, pop, 'chunk' bait, or live bait for Tuna and Dorado.

Nothing beats the feeling when 100+lbs Yellow fin Tuna take jigs on the downfall with rods doubled over and screaming drags! Multiple hook ups are common and that’s when the real excitement begins!

If the offshore bite is slow, there is no need to worry! We will bait fish for Goliath Grouper, Red Snapper, Amber Jack, Barracuda, Tile Fish, Bull Shark, Mackerel, and other incidental species. These fish give 'pumping', line stripping fights just as well as any Marlin or Tuna. T

here will be plenty of entertainment on the ride out, a TV with a selection of DVDs (bring your own if you like), board games, playing cards, and a bar counter with bar stools to enjoy ice cold beers. We will only serve quality food from the galley during the trip, eggs, omelets and bacon for breakfast, hamburgers and sandwiches for lunch, steak and potatoes for dinner.

Depending on the day’s catch, anglers can feast on your own freshly-caught fish, nothing better than fresh Tuna or Dorado steaks on the grill! After a long hard day of fishing, the boat will anchor up over rock structure so anglers can continue fishing for Snapper and Grouper species, or anglers can go below deck and rest on comfortable bunks. Cots and hammocks can be set up in the cabin and on deck depending on the number of anglers, or if preferred, anglers can sleep under the stars!
